Strong Thighs and Weak Knees

Postby Gulliver » Tue May 03, 2011 9:36 am

Hi,

I have a slightly odd question.

My genetics, or natural make-up or whatnot, seems to have a rule saying "add more thigh". My legs look toned even when I'm not exercising and just sitting getting fat. I have, like, superthighs. My bum, too, isn't bad. When I start working out and switch to a higher protein diet, they balloon. So, I don't really do any leg-specific exercises at all. I have no problem with this at all, really.

What I do have a problem with is that my leg joints are kind of weak. I run a couple of times a week, and find that my knees and ankles are tiring out before the rest of me.

Can anyone recommend any exercises to strengthen my leg joints without building up my legs proper?

What sport are we training for here and how big exactly are your thighs that they are causing problems?

Causing problems fitting into jeans : D

I'm not training for anything really other than health and vanity.
