Big Gunz - Curlz or Rowz?

Postby ^toby^ » Wed Dec 10, 2008 2:35 am

i've been doing the "bear routine"
10 sets of 5 of sidepress and deadlift twice a week.

I am doing 5x5 Db Curls after my main workout try to make my small upper arms bigger.

If i have a chin up bar, i would do close grips chin up. But i don't.

Should i do curl grips bent over row instead?

Would it be too much cos row's fatigue level is higher?

hey MBV, you can get cheap doorway chinup bars pretty much at every sporting goods store in melbourne. I saw one at Kmart for about $25 the other day, or you could find a tree in the park or monkey bars at a playground (you live right near a park don't you?)

I don't think you should worry about fatigue at this stage, as you are only training twice a week. If you can't recover there is something wrong. How much are you eating per day on average? Concentrate on getting your whole body big and the gunz will follow, unless of course you wanna look like this guy

what if I only have a barbell bar and a pair of dumbbell bar + a pile of weights, no rack, no bench, no long to deadlift the weight for me to floor press?

Put the bar on the floor, lie down on your back with your head touching the bar(so it looks like a "T") reach behind you, arch your back, arse and shoulders and heels on the floor, the grab the bar, and do a lat pullover to get the bar past your head.

You're ready to go.

Or if you head is low enough to just roll the bar over it.
