That sounds too dangerous. Maybe if they were nailed to the ground :)

[quote="Strix"]Hey, hannibal, did you get a good laugh? :P
JO mentioned the static holds to me. You mean holding as long as I can then release slowly, right?

yep, but it will help to do them at your sticking point as well. if you attempt a normal chin from a dead hang position, wherever you fail that's your sticking point. so when doing negatives do static holds there for as long as you can, that way you'll get stronger at the actual point where you're hitting failure on the 'positives'.. if that all makes sense.

laughing.. who me? :P

If you give it a try, you might be surprised how sturdy it is. You can also do dips on a "walker", which you can probably find at a thrift store for a few bucks. That's how I got mine. :)

Hmmm, I see. Sadly, I don't have sticking points yet :D I honestly cannot lift myself at all yet :(. So there is no failing point.

Maybe when I get gorilla arms I can try that :).

Yes, you. I'm happy to be your entertainment. Wait till I put a picture of my feet. You'll love my runner's toes :P

:D

You know, I'm sore in places I never knew I had muscle! I don't think my triceps and right below them, sort of my back area...hard to describe -- have ever been this sore. I'm feeling good! It's nice to have that kind of boost after having reached a plateau...it gets boring.

Yeah, that'll happen when you start something new. I remember when I started doing stiff-leg deadlifts, I could hardly sit down for 5 days. What have you been doing that did that to you?

It's JO's fault! Ha! I guess I can either blame JO or thank her :). I was thinking 12lb. weights but she said 15 for my biceps. So I had to up the weight on my triceps too. I was doing -- now be nice! -- 5 lb. weights for those tricep kickback thingys  So now I'm using the 10 lb. weights for that and it hurts good :). I've only done it twice so far.

Geez, the hardest part of all of this is resting. I don't like it! So much time off is messing with me. I know it's best because I can feel it working; I'm just not used to it.

When do we get "legs". We are bored with our Strix arm, we need the next piece. If you don't want to give us any leg yet we'd be happy with a back, even a couple of abs so we can start adding to our collection :P  :P
