I like bouldering - less hassle than climbing with full harness etc.

My level is whatever level comes just below 'totally crap.'

hi!

my boyfriend and I are climbers, so we would like to go climbing
at the VFW, if possible.
he is capable of lead climibing 8- and I can manage to climb a level 6-7 (toprope though,
because I'm afraid of falling, when lead climbing)

see you there,
giulia

Girlfriend is a cliffhanger and asks what kind of hiking/climbing/alpine equipment should she pack up. Also since Bodensee is near the Alps, what locations would you suggest to visit in the summertime for good times and sensational panoramic views?

our complete climbing equipment (rope, shoes, harness, clips, belay, etc.)

Hi,

there is a climing hall at Radolfzell

http://kletterwerk.de/

For the beginners/boulderers, we should go there.
Of course, it is weather-intependent.
Equipment can be rent.

Outdoor Climbing nearby:

Mägdeberg
http://www.klettern-im-hegau.de/

or, for the more ambicious:

Donautal
http://www.dav-felsinfo.de/ajaxdav/?3=21-02-006

For both Mägdeberg and Donautal we should go by car.
Climbing shoes, harness, rope 60m (1 every 2 persons), clips (1 set every 2 persons) and a helmet we would have to take with us.

@xkillerx
There are so many tours available, what should I recommend?
Quite nearby is this one:
http://www.hikr.org/tour/post26390.html
5b (French Grading System)

or
http://www.hikr.org/tour/post2341.html
6a (French Grading System)

http://www.hikr.org/tour/post2966.html
6b (French Grading System)

Equipment:
There is still lots of snow. What area does she want to go?
e.g. this is a tour a friend of mine did last weekend
http://www.flickr.com/photos/21484920@N02/4904435882
so depending on what she wants to do, she should take full winter equipment.
