amsterdam eateries/wholefood shops

Postby andyO » Wed Jul 19, 2006 9:55 am

I'm going to be passing through amsterdam next monday, so was wondering if anyone knows of any good places there to eat and where I might be able to purchase some nice Dutch vegan wholefoods to give to friends back here?

Thanks!

On a related note, do folks find that Happy Cow has a good coverage of what's available in your areas?

Do you have any idea which part of 'dam are you passing through? Lookout for the 'De Natuurwinkel' health food chain, they sell plenty of vegan goodies.

Also the Bolhoed restaurant at Prinsengracht 60, one of our vegan friends works there and there are many vegan dishes and desserts on the menu.

How is Barcelona Runner, is it hot, im in ANdalucia and its HOT!
Would like to pop into Barcelona on the way back north, find veganism in this country a bit totally not 'done' though.
