Vegan Bed & Breakfast

Postby ORLYLOL » Mon Jun 24, 2013 5:03 pm

My wife and I stayed at a vegan B&B near Seattle for our anniversary this weekend. Here is the link: http://www.somedayfarmveganbedandbreakfast.com/

If you're ever in this neck of the woods, I highly recommend checking it out. It was absolutely fantastic. Throughout the day you can hear birds singing in the wetland on the property and then at night a chorus of frogs kicks in. The owners have a plethora of farm animals roaming around and are very entertaining to see how excited they get when the farm owners show up. Every morning breakfast is brought out to the cabin that is homecooked, vegan and very tasty. Then you are left alone to do whatever you'd like. The cabin itself is pretty much fully stocked with it's own kitchen and a gas stove. Seriously, I cannot sing high enough praises. It's also a great comfort to know that you don't have to constantly remind them you are vegan or worry about not being able to have the food.

That seems like a lovely place! I'd love to stay sometime but B&B's tend to be well outside of my price range. Now if anyone knows of any nice, inexpensive Vegan hostels - or better still: if anyone would like a Vegan house guest - please let me know! :D

There's also a new eco, vegan-friendly & bicyclist oriented B&B just outside of the very vegan-friendly little city of Eugene, Oregon: http://www.velobandb.com - Bike in & you get 10% off!

What!?!?

Ok. My wife and I have to go to that. We'll need childcare. Want to help us out? We will definitely need a date after the move.
"The worker has the right to leave his boss, but can she do it? And if she does quit him, is it in order to lead a free life; where she will have no master but herself? No, she leaves to sell herself to another employer. She's driven by the same hunger. Thus the worker's liberty is only a theoretical freedom, lacking any means of realization; an utter falsehood."

Yes! I'll be glad to come down & hang out with your great vegan kids (how old are they again?) &/or have my great vegan kids (15, 12 & 10) come down & hang out with your great vegan kids! :D

Same goes if/when y'all come up to stay at Portland's Vegan B&B: http://www.cherokeeroseinn.com

Ps. I'm also down for vegan family road trips, camping trips &/or being your own private tour guide to Vegan Cascadia! :D
