I want to go to the USA but where baby?!

Postby Rubber_Ritchie » Mon Jan 18, 2010 2:43 am

Flowers,

I've never been to the USA and I desperately want to go. My interests are funk, wild times, glam rock, freakshow, friendly people and vegan food of course!

Where go?!

PS I might do some performing when i'm there too. xx

Indeed! Where else?

ha word. ive always lived at least 30 minutes away from sf and go there regularly. its fun, but its not all peace, love, and rock & roll like it used to. its still like that at certain events and places...but with homeless too.

definitely got tons to do for a visitor though...so id say go for it

I think that just about any place in the US has the characteristics the OP is looking for. The problem is knowing the right people. SF might have more per capita, but you still have to get in the know. I would suggest find folks that can bring the rock, and go there first. The thread will unravel where ever you go if you start right.
"The worker has the right to leave his boss, but can she do it? And if she does quit him, is it in order to lead a free life; where she will have no master but herself? No, she leaves to sell herself to another employer. She's driven by the same hunger. Thus the worker's liberty is only a theoretical freedom, lacking any means of realization; an utter falsehood."

ahhh too bad I'm not back home. could have offered you a place to stay at the Jersey Shore!

Washington, DC --> Adam's Morgan, U-Street and Dupoint Circle love love love. China town is cool as well.

of course you must visit the Big Apple!

Me too. I recently started a thread asking a similar thing, and people seemed to agree that San Francisco is well worth a visit.
