Stockholm: New restaurant near Centralstation

Postby ida » Mon Nov 30, 2009 9:11 pm

For all you travellers out there that happens to go by Stockholm, there is a new vegan food alternative: Fattoush at Kungsbron.

This Libanese restaurant have existed for years over at Regeringsgatan, but now they have open another branch next to Centralstation. The grilled falafel wrap is probably one of the greatest falafel meals there is in the city. (Yes, better than Falafel King IMO) The whole meal with a wrap and a salad including deap fried pita bread is a real treat, even though I rarely can manage anything but the actual wrap.

And if you have missed out on Vego Green on Vasagatan (not entirely green despite it's name) this is also a fresh and nice place to go for a meal in the vincinity around Centralstation. The meze plate is perhaps not the most innovative dish on the market, but there are many vegan options to choose from to make a good and energizing meal for a vegan on the go.

This sounds interesting... Is the restaurant completely vegan or just vegan-friendly?

Fattoush is unfortunately not a vegan place as the falafel wrap + salad is the only vegan meal on the menue.
