I'm travelling there to celebrate new year and I'd like to have some advices in advance.

Vegan or vegan friendly restaurants?
Other things to see, except museums and such?
What about near cities?
And what happens in new years eve?

For near cities I recommend taking the brige over to Malmö Sweden.. with treats like the best falafel in sweden, vegan pizza, veg chinese restaurant (we're talking deep fired mock meats ), great healt food store, etc.. Arguably the vegan capitol of Sweden!

I really liked Green Cellar in Copenhagen.

Also Riz Raz is a buffet, doesn't cost too much and has lots of vegan options.

Other than falafel, that's all I've had a chance to try out in Copenhagen so far.
