If you're flying to/from Ireland, Aer Lingus has surprisingly decent vegan food. Their only oops was including Coffeemate in a package, which contains a dairy derivative. For dinner going to Ireland I had rice, cooked variety of veggies (and a really good variety, not corn and peas, ugh), dinner roll, vegan margarine, fruit cup, small salad...pretty good.

Lunch coming back was pasta with tomato sauce and veggies, ginger biscuits (om nom nom), fruit cup, and a salad. Mid flight snack was a veggie rollup, very good but only complaint was that it was just veggies in a tortilla, no condiments or anything.

think it's nice to have good flight food, although it's good to have backup just in case.

need to check if BA offers anything.

used to get quite decent vegan meals on trans-atlantic BA flights.
