Room available in shared vegan house Edinburgh

Postby Jonathan » Fri Jun 01, 2007 4:58 pm

At some point towards the end of June/beginning of July, we will have a spare room to rent in our shared vegan house. We live just outside Edinburgh (25minutes on the bus, 15minutes on the train) overlooking open countryside. We have two different rooms to choose from, one around 3x3.5m and the other 3x2.8m.

We have two living rooms, a conservatory, a good sized kitchen, a bathroom and gardens.

Also worth noting, is that the room is ideal for anyone into lifting, as we have our own training hall just over a mile from the house (Unit 20). There is a substatial variety of lifting equipment there.

Locally there are great walks, good cycling and running tracks (the Dalmeny Estate is only 5minutes walk from the house and is a huge, very wild country park, with hills, woods and coastline/beach). The bus stop is about 100m from the house, and the train station around 12-15minutes walk away.

We are looking for someone who is vegan, easy going and non smoking.

Rent is dependent on current interest rate, and also of which room you were to choose, but is around £270 (single person) a month, inclusive of all bills and council tax. We also have a phoneline and wireless internet.

If you are interested, please PM either myself, Buzz (Brian) or Kathryn.

Bumping this, as the fantastic opportunity to become an esteemed member of the Edinburgh Cult is once again available for a limited time only! (as in quite a while probably :)). The room is going to be available again in a couple of weeks time. It's the double room, and rent is £270 inclusively. Any questions/interest please pm of of us, or post in this thread.

if someone can hook me up with any job up there, I'll do this.
