This is one of my favorite recipes when having non-vegans over for dinner (it taste so good they can't believe its vegan).
Serves 4
Spaghetti for 4 persons. Cook it according to instruction on package.
300 g vegan fake chicken (I use chichi, but I guess Fry's strips, or other fake chicken works just as well)
100 g melted margarin
1 clove of garlic, finely chopped (or pressed)
0,5 dl vegan parmesan (or yeast flakes)
1 dl bread crumbs
4 tbs chopped parsley
2 tsp garlic salt
2-3 pinched of italian herb mix
salt & black pepper to taste
Heat oven to 225°C.
Blend margarin and garlic in a pot. Put it aside.
Mix parmesan, bred crumbs, parsley, garlic salt, herbs, salt & peppar in a bowl.
Dip the chicken strips one by one first in the margarin and then coat it in the bread crumb mix. Put it on a baking tray. Repeat until all chicken is covered. Pour any left over margarin&garlic over the chicken. Bake for 10-15 minutes in the middle of the oven.
Serve with spaghetti & tomato sauce (ready made, or easily made from fresh tomatoes). Enjoy!
