You've inspired me. I think I'm going to pick up some chia this week. I've never ever used it before, but so many people have been recommending it I think it's about time.

Haha nice one:), if i was to remake the recipe again like i say in the blog post id add some milk of whatever kind i.e soya, nut milk to make it a little less thick.

Sounds similar to a very easy thing I do:

Soak dates.
Grind seeds.
Mash dates and mix in the seeds.

I only recently started using chia seeds but they suit it brilliantly. I usually use a few different seeds, and often nuts as well.

It tastes so good even my 8 year old wants some. Although he does call it poo cake because it's a brown lump.

I make something similar:
grind chia in coffee grinder, and mix it with mashed bananas and blueberries

Looks good, although I would stick with flax seeds to keep the cost down!

Not sure if flax seeds would work in the same way might give it a try.

Flax seeds work fine. All seeds affect the result in a different way, hemp seeds (assuming they're unhulled) ad a crunch, chia seeds grind smoother than anything else I've tried. The thing about this recipie is that using seeds you can get a fairly high protein addition (if that's what you want).
