Postby emmabee69 » Sat Apr 18, 2009 7:17 pm

This is soo yummy.

Not anything Ive come up with its out of a recipe book Ive got but thought it was too nice not to share.

This is a link to the same version online

http://www.cookingforvegans.co.uk/cooki ... gnese.html

Ive changed mine to use red cabbage instead of the celery (as Im not found of celery) and I use red onion (as I love the flavour).

Its a nice sauce to use on any grain or veggies.

I used this as a base for a pasta sauce tonight. I also had mushrooms, some brown lentils, a few dried country veggies, a tin of cannelli beans and some tomato puree.

It turned out very nice indeed. :D
