I used to listen to the radio over internet a lot! First because my normal radio died and then at work when no one else was around. I listen to mainstream pop stations (for background noise), Lund university student radio (Swe) because I worked there for a few years and to specific programs that I missed but was interested in (more heavy "intellectual" stuff).
I don't have any specific recommendations for you, but there are loads of stations "airing" very specific types of music. I'm sure you can find just what you want if you just search around a little. If you want music that is. If I remember correctly there is a load of radiostations accessible from one of the menues in Internet Explorer, so if you are using IE, that might be a way.
