Probably not, it is impossible to headbang properly with short hair. I'm sure you will try for a minute, in vain of course, and then give up and go stand in the back of the venue with the rest of the old guys. But have fun anyway!

Pffh, it's possible and of course its more painfull without the good old air resistance, or should I say hair-resistance, that a proper haircut brings.

I don't mean to rain on your parade Bronco but I saw Slayer in concert around 1994 when ever Divine Intervention came out and they are not the most impressive live band in the world. They sound exactly like they do on CD. Sorry. The highlight of the show was watching this little guy kick everybodys arse in the pit.

Yeah, you should be sorry if you cant appreciate a great metal concert ;). I also saw them in 1994, and probably around ten times since then, and every time they were excellent. Well, except for a stadium gig where they were opening for iron maiden. Stadium gigs sucks. But anyway they are a kick-ass live band.

The best live metal band I have ever heard was Metallica in 1989 at the Philadelphia Spectrum. :D
