WSM DVD's => culture section ;)

(we are just trying to declutter general discussion and make it easier for people to chat about those things, lets see how it turns out!)

Well seeing as JP has classified Worlds Strongest Man 'culture', you may never see the end of me! :twisted:

he has? well, if I see any discussion about strongmen stuff here I will move them to the appropriate forum. :) this forum is not for putting "culturally approved" stamps on various sports, but to provide an arena for the discussion about other forms of cultural stuff. the sports have their own sections.

Well in that case I demand a "Strongman Culture" section to the board!!

WSM is culture in the very sense of the word - people of many nations come together to share an experience like no other - mountains of men (commonly with commendable facial hair) going through intense pain to lift heavy, awkward objects that could very well be lifted by machinery, for a small cash prize and a suspiciously dodgy trophy! :lol: :wink:

Culture...I usually keep mine in a Petri dish not a forum, but this looks well cool :D Anyways you might not see much of me in here because I am a bit of a Philatelic (or is that a Palestine?) :wink:

I believe the term you are looking for is Philologist (or is it Phillipine?).

Could well be. I don't do well with big words like antidisestablishmentarianism, floccinaucinihilipilification or cat. :wink:
