FYI

The actor who plays the sheriff is British. It was really funny to see him speaking in his native accent after seeing him perform as a southern sheriff.

I read the comics through the prison-base arc and got bored. They were...just not my type of comics? I really wanted to like them but they just weren't for me; I'm also pretty lukewarm about zombies and they're at the bottom of my "interesting monsters" list, lol. I never watched the show for these reasons.

i like grim and brutal and the sociology of disaster (real or imagined) is absolutley fascinating. humans in horrible situations trying to balance their humanity vs survival.
