Oh. That is a good one. Really good.
"The worker has the right to leave his boss, but can she do it? And if she does quit him, is it in order to lead a free life; where she will have no master but herself? No, she leaves to sell herself to another employer. She's driven by the same hunger. Thus the worker's liberty is only a theoretical freedom, lacking any means of realization; an utter falsehood."

Karate Kid, Flashdance, and A League of Their Own isn't too bad, either.

Don't watch a lot of so-called sports movies. I had to think REAL hard past Flashdance.

Never seen it, but read the book. How did the movie pan out?

Note. Just saw it again. Aged well. Better than I remember. Rocking movie.

'The Big Blue' is an amazing film. I love it however I also hate some aspects of it (making freedivers seem crazy, using real life characters but showing them in a bad light etc.)
A charcter who dies in he film is still alive in reality - how mad is that?

I love the music, the way it is shot/directed. I also thought it was science fiction when I first saw it - I didn't think people could reach those depths. Now people are swimming to the depths that they needed weights and lifts to reach back then.

Manifesto by Ryan Leech is a brilliant trials film, well worth checking out!
