[quote="xzebrasx"]Yo, I'll check that out, x.
I would recommend:
Suicide Bid (dub, punk, reggae, ska)
Inner Terrestrials (ska, punk, reggae, dub)
Leftöver Crack (skacore, punk, crack rock steady)
Choking Victim (also)
Public Serpents (punk, reggae, ska)
The Infested (skacore, punk)
The Mad Conductor (ska, funk, reggae, hip-hop)
Antimaniax (skacore)
Capdown (also)
Cranston Foundation (reggae, -core)
General Rudie (ska)
No-Ca$h (skacore)
P.A.I.N. (ska, punk, reggae, dub)
Paprika Korps (reggae from Poland)
The Dumpers (punk, ska, -core)
Not "pure" reggae, dub or dancehall, but something I like very much, anyway.
Mate you are so singing from the same hymnsheet as me on this one, particularly in the case of the ITs, PAIN, Leftover/Choking & Antimaniax. i also put on Mad Conductor last time they were over in the UK.
On this basis I would have to recommend a couple of more underground bands in the UK at the moment who are beginning to make waves, namely
JAKAL (listen to "Junkyard"),
DIRTY REVOLUTION (listen to "I Love Reggae"),
THE AUTONOMADS (listen to "Dubbin Up The Downfall") and
THE APOSTATES (listen to "Same Old Sound").
Hope u like!
