hey i'm a pretty big afficianado, i think buzz is also.

do you like the house music that's more jazz influenced (ie trumpets, singing, keyboards, 'standard' instruments) or more techno-influenced stuff (ie you could only reproduce the sounds electronically)?

i cane definitely give you some good recommendations

Not too much into the funk/disco/jazz influenced house, but rather electronica influences, even though nothing beats some nice fat house grooves late at night.

My personal favourite is Luomo, really nice house beats mixed with electronica and even some glitch influences if you listen hard 8)

There's some really nice Swedish house music as well, but as usual I'm shitty when it comes to remembering names, so you have to take my word for it ;)

I'm more of a techno/trance boy, but don't mind the odd bit of house. Prefer harder stuff generally, but softer is ok as long as the bassss is phat :)

Luomo is awesome!

And there are some great Swedish dudes:
The entire Svek catalogue is great, Jesper Dahlback is probably my favourite, his brother John not so much. But really everything Svek put out over the years is worth listening to.

I think Martinez has some really amazing stuff too, he's probably the best up-and-comer from Sweden that I know of, his DJing is amazing.

Yeah, Svek was the label name I was looking for, awesome stuff.

however, John and Jesper are cousins and not brothers, I used to work with John's half sister.

innnteresting.... always thought they were brothers!

if you're into techy-house stuff, and want some free downloads, i really recommend Brian Ffar. Lots of really good mixes on there.

Me too - I like the big dirty beats, though I'm not 'street' enough to use words like 'phat'.
