Mozza has a Vegan diet but does unfortunatley wear some real leather shoes and boots.- No excuses, not with the range that's available now.
Otherwise think Moz is a massive credit to the movement.
Johnny Marr,Andy Rourke and Mike Joyce are all vegetarians.

I don't even like the Beatles or Paul M, and I don't care about her leg. She's probably hotter now than she was before the accident. Maybe that's why I'm strangely attracted to her, because she's so vile and pitiful? Who knows? What I do know is that she does veganism far more harm than good. I wonder if the money used for the opening of her restaurant is comparable to the "equestrian fees" she demanded in the divorce courts despite no longer riding? Let's face it, you just want to like her because she's vegan and has been given a rough ride in the media. She's no martyr and I don't feel sorry for her whatsoever.

HOW did you look in to her history?

could you (try) and explain how you feel shes done far more harm that good for veganism?

i think thats great if she got extra money off him for equestrian fees even tho she doesnt ride, at least she will be putting that money to good use.

Have since found out -referance wikipedia- that the great Johnny Marr is in fact Vegan! Turned Vegan back in 1985! Respect due! Greatest songwriting partnership ever- Morrissey/Marr.

Believe that the only thing preventing Morrissey's status as a Vegan is his penchant for leather shoes esp cowboy boots.
So wonder if Johnny also has shoe 'fetish' going on?
Not like the old days, remember when the footwear choices were shite- very limited and a lot of cheap plastic stuff. Think the range now is superb.

It's funny that of the two Morrissey obsessions, veganism and his appearence, he lets his appearence win out in the battle by his continued support of leather.

yeah, not good- but having said that am still amazed at how many people Morrissey has converted to Vegetarianism and or Veganism through his music. So many AR people have told me this over the years- many citing Meat is Murder album- and so many young ARpeople,(which really surprises me) who still are saying that either The Smiths or Moz was the reason or a big part of it.

Hi,

found some interviews with Johnny Marr, where he says hes vegan

http://www.guardian.co.uk/lifeandstyle/2009/jul/19/body-soul-johnny-marr
and this story in the daily mail has nice pics
http://www.dailymail.co.uk/home/moslive/article-1208926/Heres-Johnny-Marr-Morrissey-guitars-Smiths-reform.html

his new band The Cribs are playing in wellington this weekend. I cant afford to go so will have to resort to lurking around local vegan places hoping to bump into him!

Also, someone said they heard rumours about Alicia Silverstone being vegan... yes she is very vegan!
She even wrote a book about it and has a whole online community supporting/promoting the vegan lifestyle :D

Her book is called "The Kind Diet".

See her talk about it; http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4cJlO3TOCrs & http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TGp7PZt5 ... re=related

That is a no on Clint Eastwood.

VegNews magazine went hunting to find out and came back with a no.

My mom watched some chef-program yesterday and they were going to cook food to Foo Fighters and some of them were vegetarian and vegan!

Toby Maguire and Nat Portman are part time vegans or just plain not vegan despite their claims.. Portman was in a video interview a couple of months ago and was kind enough to fudge the public definition of veganism by saying that yes, she can in fact have ice cream cause theres soy and rice based stuff and that if vegans find ethically sourced dairy they can have that too! as for Maguire, he resorts to animal foods when he wants to bulk up for a film role.

there are stacks of other vegan celebs I cant list right now but the maguire/portman nonsense annoys me!
