if you don't know who AFI is, well, then... poo on you.

i also believe that there is an article on the English Wikipedia page about this.

Cool! I saw AFI three times in 2001, but never again since :(

Heather Mills is Vegan!

Says so on her website. Does a lot of work for AR causes as well as landmines.
(Unlike her ex-P.McCartney-she practices what she preaches and doesn't make money from Animal Cruelty ala Linda McCartney foods-mass slaughter of chickens in the egg facilities)

I dunno. Bit of a tautology there.

Bumped into Martin Shaw (or his twin brother) just outside Buck House on Tuesday.

Different sources have him down as "vegan" or "strict non-ovo vegetarian" and he campaigns with Viva! so not altogether a bad chap.

Much respect for this dude and his wife.

Although there's no mention of veganism in the wiki article (the one on he and his wife Helen lists that "they weren't too 'vegan' in their vegetarianism") he speaks about it at length in one of his books: The Good Life.

When he was 100 years old, he decided, well that's it, and intentionally fasted until he expired.

If you can, check out his book. Kind of dry at times (goes in DETAIL about the techniques and mechanics of homesteading), but well worth it.

Gauze- Think you are bang out of order in regard to Heather Mills- maybe you might want to visit her website and see the millions she has raised for landmines, various Animal Rights charities. Opening of Vegan Cafe in Brighton.
If you are going to come out with ridiculous rubbish like that at least have the balls to put some substance and reasoning into a explanation as why you think that.

there's no explanation needed, just read up on what kind of things she's done, quotes from people who know her, excerpts from court proceedings. She's a disgrace to veganism as a movement and it's pathetic that vegans look up to her in anyway.

Not vegan I'm afraid; he did an interview on Fivelive a few months back where some listener texted in to express admiration for his vegan lifestyle, to which he replied something like 'I'm not vegan because I eat cheese, but I often order vegan food when out in public'.

In my opinion it's a little duplicitous of Viva to dress him up in vegan-themed shirts in their catalogue (well they did in the past, even if they don't now still) when they're aware of this. Bit like them using Joanna Lumley for years & claiming that she was veggie when she openly admitted that she wasn't.
Meat is still murder, dairy is still rape.

Aha, his name shall also go on the list.

I wondered why the "non-ovo vegetarian" was not "non lacto-ovo vegetarian" or just plain ol' vegan. Guess that explains it then.

Gauze-"there's no explanation needed."
Unless you are going to give an explanation then it sounds like you've joined the mainstream media witchunt that is based on hating her because .
A-she has a false leg and so should be ridiculed.
B -she had the temerity to divorce Paul McCartney and take a massive amount of money- a sizeable amount she is now using to promote Veganism. Can't do that to darling Paul, he was a Beatle, everybodys favourite.
C- she is a forthright independant Woman who speaks her mind.

Unless you tell me differant I can conclude she has done more for AR and Veganism in her lunch hour than you have ever done.

If thats your definition of a 'infamous disgusting whore'- you're a fool.

Influencer, I'll concede I was skeptical when the gutter press started calling her all sorts of shit. Until I looked into it myself, into her history and what she's really about. I don't even like the Beatles or Paul M, and I don't care about her leg. She's probably hotter now than she was before the accident. Maybe that's why I'm strangely attracted to her, because she's so vile and pitiful? Who knows? What I do know is that she does veganism far more harm than good. I wonder if the money used for the opening of her restaurant is comparable to the "equestrian fees" she demanded in the divorce courts despite no longer riding? Let's face it, you just want to like her because she's vegan and has been given a rough ride in the media. She's no martyr and I don't feel sorry for her whatsoever.

How about the one & only Morrisey of The Smiths fame? I'm sure he is, I here he walked off stage at a festival because he could smell the meat cooking from a burger van- what a hero!
