see my big gobbed post here: http://www.veganfitness.net/forum/viewt ... 7758#77758

Now, what I wanna know is, I can run about 1/4 mile at the mo, would training up to 10K in 3 months be feasible?
I am doing cardio classes at the gym at the mo, but to be honest I bloody hate running! :? It's a good cause tho, so I'm considering it, but some of you experienced runners give me your opinion whether I stand half a chance or be better off challenging someone else to do it instead of me and sponsor them (can do both of course! ;))?

When you train 3 times a week you can build up to 10k in 3 months.. I think it should not be to much of a problem..

but when you don't like it it might be hard!!

If you really dislike it there could be other ways to get money..

There is a 10K training programme for first time 10K runners here:

http://www.halhigdon.com/10ktraining/10knovice.htm

the programme is 8 weeks long. Guess you could take a look and see what you reckon?
