you can always upload images to the Image Gallery. better than squeezing in the image in your avatar :)

Thanks fredrikw! I've just had loads of fun with photos and posted one on the image gallery of Bluebell and I on the cardio, endurance section.

On a more serious note, and sticking to the original topic of this thread, here is a report from The Herald: the national scottish newspaper:

' Suzanne Benyon-Owen, who was born just a mile from the course, celebrated a return to her native soil by regaining the women's title after a gap of several years. After two years troubled by a stress fracture, the City of Glasgow woman was on the brink of a comeback when swiped of her bike. " It's taken a while to get back from that," said the Keele Phd student. She was fourth in the national last year, but on this form will be in contention for a medal.'

Only pity is it doesn't mention her being vegan - but, without tempting fate (and touching lots of wood- how British am I??!!) I hope there will be plenty more opportunities for that.

Bluebell has signed up for veganrunners and has her top (although it has been too cold and not appropriate for events to wear it yet). i have also discussed getting a vegan runners registration and have spoken to our head, Peter Simpson. This will happen most prob in new year. I will still compete quite often in Veg and C AC colours because as a Veganrunner you are affiliated to both and I like the 'cycling' bit - especially when I do a duathlon.

I will get some action shots.
