10 mile training

10 mile training

Since it seems possible I will run the 10mile in reading in february, it seems like a good idea to start training for it at some point :).
Unfortunately with floorball and lifting and all, it seems unlikely that I will have time to run more than 1 time a week. My guess is that it would be pretty good to do longer runs only then, varying the distance between 12 to 18 km or so.
Do any of you expert runners have a better idea, or comments?

stop the other activities!!!

if you have time for 1 run i would say go for the long run. with floorball you train your speed and with the other work out you train your leggs and abbs..

if you can do more trainings you can do an other training. what you can do is a test every 4 or 5 weeks see what you can do..

or try a tredmill
