Over the past few months I've taken up the high-octane, foul-weather, harsh-terrain sport of fell-running. It's intense. Short, medium and long races over the peaks and fells (Yorkshire and the Lake District).

Once you get past the pork scratchings and boozing, it's brilliant. I highly recommend it to anyone!

If I lived in that neck of the woods I would definitely take it up. The terrain round here isn't quite as inspiring though :(

I tried a fell race once in North Wales, it was bloody hard work - I imagine in the Lake District it's even more severe.....

LOL I am supposed to be doing the KIMM at the end of thsi monrht and I haev only been fell -running once :shock: - I have fell-running shoes though!
