hi all,
can anyone give me some tips in loosing weight? i mean - i am not overweight or so and i am trained, but every pound counts when it comes to runs a 5K or whatever competition.
i realy train hard - about 4 hours a day - and eat little, but i can reduce weight. my bodyfat is about 5 % but i am still 68kg (149.91 pound) at a height of 172. my upper body is too well built - anyone knows a good way to get rid of this useless muscles?
thanx a lot

sounds like a guy in my training group..
my trainer told him not to train his arms anymore.. just focus on your leggs, abbs back...
what training do you do? what do you eat?
what times do you get on the 5k (ore other).. i think you are still in the good weight lengt proportian.. i'm 63kg 1.78 but i could be almosty 10kg more..

hi runner
the thing is that i dont do anything for my arms. the only thing i do for my upper body is a bit abbs and back - and that only every second week 1 time...
i thought about buying an "paddle" ergometer (hope its called that way in english) to train the muscles away - is that possible?
thanx a lot

are you dutch?
you can train your abbs and back as much as you want as long as it does not keep you from running... an ergometer (rowing machine).. can be nice, but make sure youuse it right.. i got problems with my back from rowing.. i think on a machine you get less problems and when you know how to do it you can increase your strengt in your back.. it might just be me..
ciao
