Clothing!

I've seen the info on here about running shoes but I wondered if anyone can advise about brands of other types of running clothing? I need to buy some new gear soon (shorts, trousers, tops sports bras and running socks) as I've increased my training sessions. Ethically produced materials and items please!

I was very pleased to read my Asics trainers are vegan. I love this forum.

Not sure about ethically produced, but loads of new balance stuff is vegan. Some of the shoes used to be made in the UK afaik. Plus they have a factory in South Africa.

Clothing that isn't made from animal derived products isn't necessarily produced in an ethical way... I'm trying to avoid buying products that are made in sweatshops etc. I haven't done much research about sports clothing, and was hoping there would be some folks who are ahead of me and in the know on this website.

No worries if not, I will get off my lazy glutes and start googling!

It was worth asking this question just for the Lady ga-ga comments...

Have you seen the Ethical Consumer guide to sportswear? They factor in all sorts of stuff including bad things the parent company gets up to which may not directly effect it's sportswear. All the same maybe a good place to start.

Thanks Nik, that's marvellous. I will mostly be hunting down Paramo gear I think. Someone should tip off Lady ga-ga. I don't think bacon let's your skin breath...
