Hi all,

Great forum! I'm sorry it took so long to get on here, but I want to thank you guys for your support and make myself available for any questions or comments.

I have been vegan for about a year now, so I'm still relatively new-- although I feel comfortable and totally adjusted to the lifestyle. I feel my running career has largely benefited from this positive dietary (and life) change, and I would like to share my experience as a vegan marathoner while learning from other "veteran" vegan athletes and continue my own personal education.

Feel free to post here or send me an e-mail at info@jeffreyeggleston.com if you prefer a direct response. I hope this can be a way to create more discussion about running and veganism, and illustrate how both lifestyles complement each other.

All the best,
Jeffrey

Marathon distance?
“Begin at the beginning,” the King said gravely, “and go on till you come to the end. Then stop.”

Fallen horse...the marathon is "a marathon", which is 26.2 miles. There is no other marathon distance. There is no such thing as a "5k marathon" or anything similar.
