I'm running more and more (heavy duty) trails and I feel my shoes aren't doing the job.
Please tell what shoes you run with.

I might buy northface ultra 103 or 105.

any more recommendations?

thanks a bunch!

I assume you mean the North Face Ultra 103 / 105? I don't think Northwave make any running shoes. Though I don't know much about those shoes anyway.

I rather like Inov8 shoes. I'm currently using the Terroc 330, for trail running etc. They pretty comfortable for me, with a bit of cushioning, and usually plenty grip for most terrains.
It does depend on what sort of trails you are running on - Inov8 have a wide range of shoes for different uses.

I also like Inov8, I'm on my 2nd pair of Roclite 295s and feel really sure footed in them on most surfaces while they still feel light and comfy on flat, hard stuff. Downside is the studs wear off with too much tarmac use. Like vCLaW says they do a lot of different sorts. I've dragged myself round a couple of trail marathons in them without any foot related anguish.

(The only other trail shoes I've used are Adidas which were ok, though rather heavy, so I can't claim much experience.)

If you are in Belgium I reckon Inov8 are probably the best bet.

Offroad I reckon you want to look for as low to the ground and stable a shoe as you can.
