A little too late but...

What are your running goals for this year?

Mine:
- 1500m track under 5.15
- a good 3000m steeple
- a good 10 miles
- 10000m track/road under 41
(- maybe try a triathlon)

My goals are to just keep running as much as possible and maybe get in a solid race here and there. In the "short term" I'm hoping to run over 30 miles on a treadmill as a benefit event for the cross country team at the high school where I work. See link below.

Oh, and figure out more ways to promote veganism/animal liberation through my running.

Much worse defined than previous years because running is a lower priority.

Complete a marathon, no time target.
Complete a solo marathon (non event)
Half an eye on a 32m ultra. But I'm not training a lot so....?
Keep running.
You can see my training log if you're really bored: www.veganfitness.net/viewtopic.php?f=8&t=16086&start=360

Goal 1: sub 1:40 HM, (I've said this before, but this year I will back it up with some proper training, see: goal two)

Goal 2: not bugging out of interval training

I look at last years goals and discuss this year's goals here: http://www.runningonthewhiteline.com/20 ... h-not.html

My main goal is to run injury free this year. That will allow just about anything I wish to accomplish take place.

I'm still trying to sort mine out, but:

get back to <38 min 10km in a triathlon

get some hill strength back and enjoy a bit more of the mountain running season this coming winter

maybe look at doing a 100km

My targets are:

50' or even better a few seconds less :P on a 10km run
1h50' on the half-marathon (I'm at 1h54' for now)

Getting used to the idea of MAYBE running a 30km race next year. That is, if my joints agree :?

Also, I need to do much more core training. I really dislike it but I have to :|

1. make sure my knee doesn't blow up.

2. qualify for boston (full marathon time of 3:10.59 or better) when my best is 3:22.30

3. volunteer at least one race's water station

4. run at least 3 full marathons

Today I did a practice 5k to see where i'm at.

With a bit more speedwork and maybe a few kilo's of hydrated fat less, sub 19 should be achievable this year.

wow nice. this outside of a 5k race? if so then you can easily do a sub 19 in my view

Yes, outside a race, but if I look at my average heart rate I don't know if I can push any harder without blowing up.
