ok, since i don't really know how it works, and since i've been told there are no frakking rules ... there you go:

25,08k
fast walking, part of my long distance running training routine, with a 4kg backpack, on a hilly route.
i'm focusing on some kind of stuff

good work sonic! :) ive also started doing a bunch of long distance walks, figure they cant do any harm training wise eh.
I find the walking helps my running and the running really helps my walking :) if that makes any sense.

Weird, I did the same thing today. Didn't realize that the challenge already started. I did get some nasty blisters though. I tried out some new walking sandals with a massage insole.

My running always makes me underestimate my walking. I always think : if I can run x km, I can walk x km. Not the case.

indeed

I had done a 2 hour soaking wet off-road XC ride in the morning, but still had plans to do a 10 minute run with the dog round the park.

The dog had other ideas

I'm in... I started running a few months ago and love it. The plan is to consistently run 3 or 4 days/week, staying at around the same distance and working on increasing my speed... I'm slow!
10/3- 0
10/4- 3.1mi/ 5k

I think I just made a ticker.....

Sun 7m with the vegan runners
Tue 6m track session - km reps
Wed 4m recovery
Thur 8.5m steady

I've reeled my goal into 500 miles and I'll see how I go

recap of the 1st week:
sun 25.08 k = 15.58 m / walking
wed 10.00 k = 6.21 m / treadmill
thu 11.08 k = 6.88 m / running
sat 12.00 k = 7.46 m / running

total = 58.16 k = 36.13 m

believe it or not, walking has been the hardest.
