Interview/article in mass media

Postby runrevolt » Thu Feb 11, 2010 2:02 pm

So, I was interviewed regarding my running for our corporate state-wide newspaper. I was hesitant to do this as the article was going to be written in 1st person, but I figured if I could get veganism name-dropped, then I'd be happy. Regardless, just to clarify, I did not write this. Personally, it makes me sound like a second grader writing a paper on "What I did this summer.", but whatever, all the information in it is correct.

Enjoy!

I can see that you did not write this. But I like it a lot. Heck, it is written in a writing that my kids could soon read.
"The worker has the right to leave his boss, but can she do it? And if she does quit him, is it in order to lead a free life; where she will have no master but herself? No, she leaves to sell herself to another employer. She's driven by the same hunger. Thus the worker's liberty is only a theoretical freedom, lacking any means of realization; an utter falsehood."

I see what you mean about the writing style but it's a good article, interesting. Ands some good vegan plugs.

Heheh, yes the writing style (but who am I to judge with my non-native-lots-of-mistake English speaking :) ) Anyway, it is always good when veganism is promoted!

Most importantly good going. All the best with your training!

Good stuff, and a nice advert for veganism :) It would be so awesome if you could qualify for the Olympic trials.....

Thanks everybody. From the amount of responses I've gotten locally, this piece was read by A LOT of people, so the spreading of the vegan meme was successful. One more drop of fuel to the fire.
