I must be lazy..as i cant run any further than3 miles ..then i feel like death.just cant seem to get the energy.been a vegan for 12 years...

Whereabouts in south wales are you?
I ran 18 miles today (albeit slowly) and feel fine!
Well I say 'fine'...

But seriously - I'm in south wales too - would be happy to meet up and run vegan with ya - trick is to build up slowly - no more than 10% per week.

And get a protien smoothy down within half an hour afterwards.

we can all grow in different fields. (fitness/ strength/ study,...).

make a plan
start
stick to the plan for a while
evaluate
adjust the plan

I've been vegan for three years. I'm a brown belt in Karate, I take Judo and Okinawan weapons and I work with a lot of heavy objects in my job (usually people who don't take very good care of themselves) and all in all... I manage to win most of my sparring rounds. Point being, I am not exactly in bad shape.

I'm only good for a few miles (partially due to adding running a short time ago). You might want to see if you have allergies. Every season I tend to get blitzed and I can't breathe to save my life (figuratively and sometimes literally!)

It REALLY kills my endurance and I'm trying to find some natural way around it.

Also, I would highly suggest getting the Runner's World book... it tells you all the things in your diet that you can ramp up on to increase endurance. Also, as you're more active, make sure you're getting enough to eat. You're going to need a little more fuel as you're burning more calories.

Anyway... those are my suggestions. Some of the pros might have more 8)
