Sorry not too sure I'd be much help as running on a treadmill makes me feel sick when I get off so only been on one once :( Is that normal to feel like that or do you get used to it? I ran for about 30 mins........sorry little off topic there.......

+1 on the reason I visit the forum - I exercise but mainly the veganism draws me to the site :)

Coming from someone who can't run on treadmills for long distances (7 miles is my longest run on a treadmill), I've never paid attention to the various doo-dads and what not in differing models. For me, a treadmill is a treadmill. If it allows you to run indoors, that's all you really need. I know some treadmills allow you to program different workouts, where the grade and speed varies, but if you are just looking to do some jogging, I think a basic treadmill would work just fine.

Still, nothing beats the outdoors.
