Hey Mikay,

Hope the body is bearing up OK ... good luck with the last week of preparation and I hope you really enjoy the distance :-)

I've just realised I've got 6 weeks until a 45 miler... and I've been doing so little training (lots of reasons) & I think my longest run is 13 miles, heh! I promise you its all in the mind ..... you'll nail it.

Let us know how it goes!

thanks skop. had a 10k on thanksgiving, did really well and starting to taper tomorrow for the 50. pretty confident that all my overtraining concerns are gone. with extra rest than usual and little less mileage i got healthy. muscles are sore from past few days of racing+ workouts but takin tomorrow off and with the taper im confident ill be 100% for the race

fyi this is the race im doing. not really concerned about the 50 miles...more of the elevation changes TNF 50 miler. but ya all about attitude
