I recognise it's not an official distance but I ran 11k in 43min 34s, and thus I broke the 40min/10k barrier
I ended 30th place

feeling great!

I agree with James, think it's normal to use final times.

If you can break records in longer races you can also break them in next race over that distance

Big HM PB for me (6:15!): 1:19:15

(ATVFR PB: 10k 36:03, 5k 18:00) Splits totally count:P Just put an asterix next to it maybe?

i ran the stockholm half marathon today. my time was 1.59.03, which is more than 8 minutes better than my first (and only) result.
