knee injury?

Postby jakob » Wed Apr 30, 2008 1:20 pm

Hej mates,
maybe you can give me some suggestions.
Yesterday i made some Squats, wanted to do 4*8*140
in the 3rd set i went a bit fast down and the my left knee knicked inwards and i got a strong acute pain.
i stopped training immediately then.
since then i have a pain in my knee and i hardly can not walk.
should i consult a doctor?
what about bandages for the knees?

Probably best to see a doctor or a physio.

Hope it's nothing serious man.

ice!

ibuprofein!

rest!

elevation!

but it does sound like its strained/overstrecthed whatever.

Seeing a physio or a doc is the best call like your arch enemy Spug just said, he is not just trying to beat you at the Edinburgh meet...

Not at all.

I think a month of rest might be a good idea though.

Cool, good plan. Although training calves might be tough.

Let us know how it goes.
