Introducing the Muppet Bowl

Postby Lordmuppet » Sat Oct 05, 2013 10:00 am

Okay so actually trying to lose weight just now but accidentally put together a ridiculously high calorie, high protein meal that can be put together in minutes. Your tastes may vary from mine but i think it's tasty

I call it

The Muppet Bowl
1 cup of mixed nuts = 1000kcals
1 cup of olives = 300 kcals
1 avocado = 300kcals
still not enough? then add
2-3 tablespoons of vegan pesto umdunno kcals
oatcakes crumbled 50kcals each
Total = 1600-1700 kcals

I'm not officially bulking. Yet.
I accidentally replaced all of my blood with coffee.

Thanks for the post Sergio - but it made me very sad to that no one else had added anything to the bulkers corner since 2013... :(

I've heard the cashewbutter is grate! Sadly, I'm not bulking either any more.

I never tried any other nut butters after being very disappointed by almond not coming anywhere near the awesomeness of peanut but cashew sounds like a very good idea. Kind of tempted to go see if Holland and Barrett has some now. Not that I'm bulking, I'm cutting on 3000kcal. I don't think I could manage bulking any more without drinking a fair amount of my calories.

When I was struggling with eating maintenance I became a big fan of putting a whole avocado in my mash potato.

I'd be tempted to chuck some sun dried tomatoes in with that :)

I got an "Hey, you're getting skinnier?" from a friend of mine the other day. I was secretly offended.

I know this forum is not the busy place it used to be, but I feel sad and I'm stuck at 95 kg so maybe is time to post something in the greatest thread ever. I just bought one of this:
