Lunch was .75 pounds of buffalo-seitan and kale. That was three hours ago and I'm hungry again. After that picture, I think an almond butter and banana sandwich is on the menu as a pre-dinner snack.

Majorly envious of that appetite. I've been eating when not hungry because I have to and I'm not exactly full and I'm still 600 calories short today

I have a somewhat odd appetite: I rarely feel all that hungry but can almost always eat more & rarely feel full for more than a few moments... :|

It's a new development. Most of it comes from the fact that I'm more active now and I'm more subject to days when I didn't get as much as sleep the night before (working two jobs will do that). But, because of the high activity factor and the inability to eat very often, I still have a really hard time getting my calories in most days.

Prime example: I just struggled to finish 3/4 cup of brown rice and 1/2 block of curried tofu with veggies and maybe 1/2 a small sweet potato with only having the aforementioned kale/seitan and being on the move all day.

It's kind of sad when it's hard to hit 1,800 calories in a day.

Getting up that little bit earlier can help, although some can have morning sickness i find that usually goes away in about half an hour for most. Getting up at 10am etc and mucking about before you know its 11am and you've ate nothing, then your playing catch up all day to stuff in calories. Where as im finding if im up at 7 eating by 8 im getting a snack in at 10 etc etc. Before i know its not even mid day and ive hit at least 1000 calories. I try to make it a habit of having a protein shake upon rising, then follow that about 30-45 minutes later with some complex carbs such as oats.

A little bitter herbs/digestive bitters on the back of the tongue can stimulate appetite naturally whilst increasing digestion. I find bitters really helpful not only for helping me digest overly massive meals but at times when im not really that hungry increasing my appetite.

Thanks for the tips! I should start doing a shake in the morning now that I'm officially bulking. Before I was only doing one right after working out and then eating a solid meal about an hour later; definitely makes sense to wake up earlier and do the same thing in the morning.

I'm about to crush a big bowl of lentil soup and follow it up with a shake since I'm short on calories again today. Double shifts at work are pretty killer.

Weighed in this morning expecting to have put on weight, still 97.8kg wtf! Early morning falafels did seem like a good idea at the time, as did going to sleep.

This is becoming my regular lunch when I am in the office, very tasty tofu noodles from Wasabi.

Looks tasty! There is a food cart here called Just Thai that gives you a mound of yumminess for just US$6 - and they give you a discount if you bring your own container! :D

Everything in London is ridiculously priced, that tub of food costs £5 nearly US$9. It's actually the medium, but they always fill it up to the large sign for me and don't charge me extra :)

4th week at gym, doing a routine for beginners, never felt so great but I'm eating like a gorilla. I thought I was officially bulking but reading this thread makes me realize how far I am from it! However, I'm 83 kg (1'93 cm height) so my goal is... don't know, let's see what happens if I keep lifting things and eating a lot.

Bananas, juice and muesli - Breakfast
Avocado, spelt wheat with lentils, huge raw salad with sunflower seeds and nuts - Lunch
Miso soup and home-made seitan with mushrooms and brocoli - Dinner

I need to reorganize all my meals for sure, this is madness!
