Silk fruit & protien

Postby jamesndawson » Thu Feb 19, 2015 3:21 pm

This question may be moot because I haven't been able to find this product in the stores, but how much do you agree with the following bad review of it?

http://evilcyber.com/nutrition/silk-fru ... ive-water/

Is it generally valid?

Is it hyped?

Is there any pseudo-science in it?

I have a hard time finding affordable vegan yogurt, so I like this. I know real fruit smoothies are healthier, and I make them often, but Silk f & p is quicker and tastier. I'm sure I wouldn't have it often. I rarely eat cakes and pastries, because they're too hard to find vegan, and the ones available locally have too much frosting on them, which does a number on my teeth.

I like real food, vegetables, fruits much better than these kinds of things. Thanks for sharing though.

I know whole foods are healthier and try to eat them as much as possible, but I enjoy the "vegan junk food" now and then too. I'm pretty much sure this is true of a lot of vegans.

Equally true a lot of vegans to eat "vegan junk food" as much as possible, but I enjoy the "whole foods" now and then too.
