Wondering if anyone has some favourite smoothie/thickie recipes please? Would like to try combining oats/greens etc for breakfast smoothie/thickie but I tend to rather random with proportions and want it to taste nice too! So if you have any tasty filling favourites please share

I mostly have 40-50gr of Vanilla flavoured Soy protein, 300gr frozen berries (strawberry is fav) about 200ml of pine apple/coconut juice (till the consistency is right--ICE CREAM!!) ;) .... well..to me its the best "smoothie" there is ;)

As long as you have a banana or two, frozen berries and soy milk or equivalent in it to cover all other ingredients, you really can't go wrong! My only green that is a total no-no for smoothies is rocket, tried it once and never again.

Had to google that one. I am familiar with the green, though it is pretty uncommon here in the U$A, but I'd never heard it referred to by that name!

Really? I had to look it up on Wikipedia now, which word do you use, arugula? I'm saying rocket because my South African house mates did.

Arugula, Yes.

You see it pretty often at farmers markets and natural food stores, otherwise it is fairly rare. I'd bet that most folks in the U$A have never tasted it!

Today's smoothies:

Morning: two bananas, frozen blueberries+black currant+black berries, baby spinach, hazelnut flour, maca powder, chia seeds, flax seeds, blutsaft (iron extract from herbs), soy milk
Evening: two bananas, frozen pineapple+mango+papaya, zest + squeezed juice from a lemon, almond and coconut flour, sesame seeds and hulled hemp seeds, soy milk

Adding lemon to an otherwise pretty sweet smoothie came out good!

I just made this one for the first time and I loved it:

Red rooster Smothie

1 cup water
6 strawberries
2 slices of raw red beet, chopped (approx. 2 tablespoons)
15 green grapes
½ cucumber, skin removed
½ orange, skin removed
2 large handfuls of spinach
4-6 ice cubes
