Mandatory Veggie Day

An interesting proposal by the German Green Party emerged recently: (Warning: contains images of meat-based dishes :| )

It looks not dissimilar to the (voluntary) Meat-Free Mondays which, as a concept, has taken off in the UK and US, but actually making it law might be the incentive needed to try and come up with more veg-based meals, as opposed to just omitting the meat, which is where caterers all too often go wrong.

I think it's at least a move in the right direction...

ah thats why the right wing liberal party has a poster where they say something about freedom to eat meat is being taken away :)
