weight gain

A friend of mine went vegan and then struggled with aneamia, bloatedness and weightgain. Any ideas what may cause this? Advice on what she should do? Thanks

Yes she must take it right, not because she want. And may be this is not appropriate for her.

I mean she don't know her limitations and may be i'ts not good for eating vegan foods...
