How do I join up?

I don't think fruit loops are vegan anymore, vitamin D3?

I am sure beforewisdom can adequately defend himself, but I think attacking his character like this is not fair at all. He is a solid contributor here and has no agendas and doesn't try and use this site to make money. Unlike some other people eh?

I think part of your problem with the vegan world in general is not that everyone else is so self-destructive, it's that you're a pompous git.

Just to correct you on that point, we actually have 8000 members.
Maybe off topic but personally I would take a unrealistic, unpractical, unreasonable, negative, destructive, vindictive and vitriolic vegan over an over optimistic energised raw evangelist.

Luckily the less foul mouthed practical vegans are the majority and fruitloops are loosing their battle. Vegan Fitness is living proof that the voice of reason can prevail.

Actually once again the vegan voice of reason has been hard at work

Vegan vitamin D3 is now also easily available at a reasonable price - Sunshine is even cheaper but if you really don't have time to step away from your keyboard.

See here Lack of of Vitamin D linked to depression by Bristol University study.

Reminds me of a great clip.

8000 fit vegans trumps 81000 fb likes, but I am not really sure where the Vegan Society came into this, or why I am even reading a thread about DHA?
Your in London, should come to the next meet up :)

Oh , luckily you just pipped me to the post

I was just about to commend you for being eloquent and using your brain instead of randomly ironically insulting people and things ............

but you proved my premature optimism totally presumptious

I, for one, am glad to see that 'Muppet' has not yet been used pejoratively in this thread ;)
JS - They think it will open the door to folk like LordMuppet campaigning for a threeway?

Yet more evidence that

1) Fitness
2) Nutrition
3) Reason

is a winning formula

Meanwhile back on topic..........

There was a meta analysis study of vegan algal omega 3 DHA long chain fatty acids published in The Nutrition Journal by The American Society for Nutrition

http://www.nuique.com/blog/index.php/2012/02/tryglycerides-omega3-dha/

It shows success at reducing tryglycerides imbalances , hopefully not something that Vegan Fitness readers suffer from as exercise is a key solution but interesting nonetheless
