Of course, no mention of how a vegan diet is usually very helpful for losing weight!

Interesting. Beats the "space food" dehydrated ice cream sandwich I was once given as a souvenir from a friend's trip to visit NASA.

I met a bloke a few months ago whose job is to road-test prototype space suits for Mars by mincing around glaciers with journalists in tow. Fun job.

He'd previously worked on developing protocols for doing CPR in zero gravity in case an astronaut choked on the ice cream sandwich or something.

He mumbled something about people working with dummies and sedated pigs in parabolic flights.

Perhaps that blows the vegan mars fantasy.
