Hi people

just wondering as I've tried googling and searching on here but to no avail...

i've run out of rice protein powder! a disaster in itself, but the question is: while i'm waiting for a new one was just wondering is a carton of so good chocolate soya milk good for a post workout meal? what makes me ask is i've heard that fat slows down absorption and there's like 5g fat per 250ml....

ok,
take care brothers and sisters :)

I wouldn't worry about the fat thing myself, but last time I checked the So Good chocolate milk only contains 20g protein per litre, so too low for PWO in my opinion. Alpro chocolate is pricier of course but that comes in at 33g per litre (most bog standard supermarket versions come in at a similar figure).

Yeah So Good is tasty but not much protein. Aldi chocolate soya is better if they still sell it.
Personally I think the reason that chocolate soya milk does down so much easier and sits in the stomach better than normal shakes is because of the fat.
