Amaranth is good. I was eating it in Australia. It is a good source of protein. Mix it into cereals. As far as a "complete protein," what do you mean?

Hi veganito,

this issue came up a while back, but in general, you don't have to worry about completeness of a protein if you have a varied and balanced diet.

Hi, veganito, :).
Amaranth is not a complete protein alone, but, QUINOA is!!

Amaranth, like most whole grains, in combination with beans or other grains, it is!

"When used in combination with wheat, corn or brown rice Amaranth offers a complete protein as high in food value as fish, red meat or poultry" Read here: AMARANTH
"The hand that signed the paper felled a city;
Five sovereign fingers taxed the breath,
Doubled the globe of dead and halved a country;
These five kings did a king to death."
