Hi,

I have been testing out a cargo bike for the past few days and I really like it. I wanted to see if anyone on the board has experience with this type and can offer any positive or negative comments before I take the plunge and buy one. Picture below:

Any information would be greatly appreciated.

No experience, or views, but I am curious as to the use you would put it to.

My partner is pregnant and due in June. I'd like to use it for transporting the baby, as we do not have a car. We got a hand-me-down car seat carrier and I would install a harness for the car carrier to click into. I also would like to start a business selling vegan baked goods off a bike, rather than a truck (there are a ton of food trucks in Washington, DC right now). Also, the bike culture in DC is pretty weak and I hope to encourage people to think about riding a bike occasionally instead of driving all the time.

Great ideas! While I haven't ridden one myself, cargo bikes of several varieties are very common out here. I have definitely seen folks using them to transport their kids as well as for transporting commercial goods, like this for example: http://b-linepdx.com/our-services/#delivery
